Excellence and innovation
through the legacy of Victoria de los Ángeles
The Festival Lied Victoria de los Angeles pays homage to the Barcelona soprano by combining three defining facets of her life: a love of Lied, a quest for excellence and the encouragement of new talent.
The Victoria de los Angeles Foundation is promoting this event dedicated to Lied, a genre which the Catalan singer dealt with to great acclaim. The festival will not only present recitals by artists of international renown (LIFE Recitals), but will also provide an innovative format that gives an opportunity for young performers to perform alongside professional musicians (LIFE New Artists) as well as a series of parallel training activities (LIFE Akademie).
