Marina Viotti and Gabriel Bianco: A Recital with a View

Next Monday, April 22, at 8 PM, the Lied Festival Victoria (LIFE) presents a recital with a view of Barcelona at the impressive Mirador de Torre Glòries. The evening will feature the acclaimed Swiss mezzo-soprano Marina Viotti and French guitarist Gabriel Bianco, who will perform songs from around the world, taking the audience on a journey from Spain to Argentina.
Just as Victoria de los Ángeles did abroad, when she would bring out a guitar at the end of her concerts and sing music by Spanish, French, or Latin American composers, Viotti and Bianco will offer this recital in memory of the Barcelona soprano, with music by Fauré, Falla, Machín, Massenet. It will be a distinguished recital to elevate one’s gaze and open a musical window to the world.
Marina Viotti, one of the most sought-after voices on the current international scene, returns to LIFE Victoria for the second time this year, accompanied by one of the most acclaimed classical guitarists of his generation, Gabriel Bianco, who makes his debut at LIFE Victoria.
The Mirador de Torre Glòries
This concert takes place in an exceptional setting, the dome located on the 30th floor of the Mirador Torre Glòries. However, this cultural facility is much more than a 360º viewpoint, located in Barcelona’s most iconic tower. That is why we invite you to discover the Hipermirador Barcelona exhibition, located on floor -1, which, through artistic installations connected to real-time data, will give you a new perspective of Barcelona and complete your visit when you ascend to the Mirador. The doors of the Mirador Torre Glòries will open to the public at 7 PM for you to enjoy.
Important: Once the recital has begun, access to the Mirador will not be permitted.
