To mark the centenary of Victoria de los Ángeles, the Foundation has launched this collaboration with the prestigious Juilliard School in New York, consisting of these masterclasses in Catalan song, Spanish song, and zarzuela, which will also take place in Barcelona and Madrid. As part of the Victoria de los Ángeles Legacy series, we are committed to promoting our heritage through this repertoire, which deserves the same recognition as Lied or mélodie. Mezzo-soprano Nancy Fabiola Herrera, a Juilliard alumna and a regular at the Metropolitan Opera, leads these masterclasses for duos, which will also be held in Barcelona in May.
