Mar Compte & Helena Ressurreição

In collaboration with the Palau de la Música Catalana, we present this recital celebrating and promoting talent that has emerged from the Foundation. On this occasion, the spotlight falls on two artists closely connected to the Foundation: pianist Mar Compte and mezzo-soprano Helena Ressurreição, both graduates of the Victoria de los Ángeles Master’s Degree in Lied at ESMUC. Compte continued her studies in Nuremberg and has appeared on numerous occasions at LIFE Victoria, performing as a four-hands pianist alongside Sholto Kynoch, as a LIFE New Artist, and making her solo recital debut last season. Ressurreição first took part in the festival in 2017 alongside Irene Mas Salom and Neus Puigdollers, later becoming a resident artist during the 2020–21 season and making her debut this season at the Gran Teatre del Liceu. Young female talent nurtured by the Foundation now makes its debut at the Palau de la Música Catalana.
