She trained in literary and linguistic studies at Columbia University
in New York, and later turned
to opera, obtaining her master's degree at the
Manhattan School of Music. Her
career includes collaborations with
figures such as Barbara Hannigan and Peter
Sellars, and notable performances such as the
title role in Adriana Mater with
the San Francisco Symphony, where she was
described as “a knockout performer”
by The Times. As part of her residency
at LIFE Victoria, she will train students
with these masterclasses
focusing on everything that is part
of a career but is not music:
repertoire, marketing, or communication,
among other facets.
Course terms and conditions
To apply for the masterclasses, duos must send the following materials to info@victoriadelosangeles.org up to one month before the masterclasses.
Submission in mp3 or YouTube format of 2 pieces in different styles. These must be Lieder, mélodies, or songs.
Send biography and contact details of the applicants.
Scanned photocopy of ID card.
List of the repertoire prepared for the course.
Payment of €40 as a registration fee, which will be deducted from the final price.
Limited places. A maximum of 6 duos will be admitted.
