Prof. Nancy Fabiola Herrera, mezzosoprano

New York – Barcelona – Madrid

Mezzosoprano Nancy Fabiola Herrera, a member of the Foundation's artistic board, will lead these masterclasses on Catalan song, Spanish song, and Zarzuela at the Byron Bookshop as part of the Festival. This course will have been previously taught at the Escuela Superior de Canto de Madrid and the Juilliard School in New York as part of the Victoria de los Ángeles Legacy program at the same school, supported by the Foundation. In an effort to reclaim our own heritage, the Victoria de los Ángeles Foundation promotes these masterclasses in New York, Barcelona, and Madrid to disseminate this repertoire—which Victoria herself performed and loved so much—to new generations of artists.
